パウエルおじさま@PFAの代表もやってますの去就についてパーデューが語っていました。おじさまといえば、先日も女子チームの面々といっしょに写真に収まっていたりしていたし、どちらかというとピッチを離れたところでさまざまな活動に従事しているのね。若い子相手のコーチ業にも精を出しているみたい。
パーデューも話してるけど、今季ここまでパウエルおじさまの出場に頼ることになるとは、私も思っていませんでした。

Chris Powell's playing career remains in doubt after Charlton manager Alan Pardew confirmed he will not play for the club next season.
The former England international, who also helps coach the club's youngsters, has featured more than Pardew would have liked or expected this term.Pardew does not see how Powell could stay on playing at The Valley alongside his off-field commitments.
"Chris played more than I expected him to this season," said Pardew. "He has done some great stuff in the background, coaching and helping the younger players.
"I would love to keep him at the club. Having said that he is chairman of the Professional Footballers' Association which entails a heavy workload.
"He can carry on playing, but not for me. He's got an outstanding chance of being successful in management and I hope chairmen will see that.
"He's in a grey area right now. Does he want to play, coach or manage? I would like him to stay at this club. What role that would be and how we would work it, I don't know."
